Color of Cancer

The Color of Cancer initiative was established out of Brown University's Legorreta Cancer Center by Dr. Sheldon Holder, MD, PhD with the goal of fostering increased participation in cancer clinical trials among communities of color. With many communities of color holding a stigma around discussions about cancer, our goal—working alongside a board of community leaders—was to create an identity for the initiative that encourages open conversation and highlights the importance of honest discussions around the topic.
