Identity for a company that’s rethinking nutrition counseling.
Life Hive Nutrition aims to rethink the way that nutrition counseling works. Through friendly competition, community engagement, and expert dietitians, Life Hive provides top notch nutritionist services. By accepting most major health insurance—unlike most dietitians—they’re also helping make nutrition counseling something that everyone has access to, not a luxury for those who can afford it.
Life Hive was in the middle of restructuring of the company, and needed a fresh identity that reflected their new approach. Newfound partnered with Life Hive to develop a comprehensive brand identity that expresses the enthusiastic and empowering sentiment at the core of their work, positioning them for continued growth and as a uniquely qualified partner for organizations looking to provide additional benefits to their employees.

The leaf serves as the core visual device of the identity, serving as a modular element across layout, motion, and iconography.
The leaf—symbolizing nature, healthy food, and growth—became the foundational motif that the identity built off of, reflecting the central values of the brand. The shape serves as a dynamic device across layout, motion, and iconography to create expressive compositions.

"I think my branding speaks for itself but seriously, the creative energy of this team is unmatched."

Newfound consulted with Life Hive to help them understand how to streamline their wellness challenges, increase participant engagement, and centralize information.
Part of their unique approach to nutrition and wellness counseling is Life Hive’s “challenges”—collaborative one-month wellness sprints that bring together coworkers through daily and weekly goals in a friendly competition for prizes and bragging rights, all while receiving personalized weekly nutrition counseling.
Life Hive’s methods for hosting challenges were scattered and inefficient, leaving room for further improving the participant experience. Newfound consulted with Life Hive to help them understand how to streamline their challenges, increase participant engagement, and centralize information, while setting up a foundation for future expansion of the concept.
